Cemex Testimonial

The IME Group - Cemex Testimonial

What others say about you, means so much more than what you say about yourself…

Some end of trip reports from Cemex UK following recent works

IME provided a good service whilst the vessel underwent repairs to the unloader in Southampton. The team of Jarrett scaffolders who attended the vessel in Southampton were also particularly good

Both IME and Jarret returned to the vessel in Shoreham to effect repairs to the travel arm on the TCB and again provided a very good service

(Abstract Master)

As always, much appreciated high level of support received from shoreside contractors this trip, particularly CCBS and IME

(Abstract Chief Engineer)

On a personal note, as always, the support provided by both IME and CCBS is very much appreciated

SD Genevieve – Before and After Transformation

Marine Electrical and Engineering by the IME Group - SD Genevieve - Before and After Images

The I.M.E Group recently carried out a variety of marine electrical and engineering work on the SD Genevieve

This included:

– Renewal of aft end fendering

– Fitting of new anodes

– Extensive work on the engine and alternators

– General maintenance

– Electrical testing of critical apparatus

– Full painting

From a visual perspective, one of the most obvious transformations was to the hull

Another job successfully completed to the highest standards

SD Genevieve – Dry Dock Lift

Serco’s vessels just keep coming…

No sooner had we got the scaffolding on the SD Norton ready to get started on that scheduled project, and the SD Genevieve arrives

At over 40 years old, she will inevitably need some tlc during our planned work but our engineers will be more than capable of taking care of her

Check out the fantastic before and after transformation here

SD Norton – Dry Dock Lift

Serco’s SD Norton being lifted on to the dock at Trafalgar Wharf, ready for us to carry out a variety of tasks, including electrical work and fabrication services

The vessel will be in our hands for approx. 1-2 weeks and will be handed back, once all work has been successfully completed and approved

Any updates will follow below the video, as the job progresses

Progress Updates

Moving a 17 ton vessel is not easy, unless you have the skills to do so

Our specialist team at Trafalgar Wharf, make light work of the move and get it off the dry dock, ready for us to complete our scheduled work

Great job by all concerned!!!
